From Michigan,  Ohio,  Indiana or Illinois:

Take I-75 to the International Bridge into Canada.

From Sault St. Marie, Canada you take highway 17 north (all weather, paved, very scenic) to Hayden.

Take scenic 556 (which is a scenic unpaved road)  across to 129,  or take 17 east to Thessalon.

Go north on scenic 129 to Chapleau,  then east on 101.  Turn right on Ivanhoe Lake Road to Red Pine Lodge (Air Foleyet Charter Service),  from there you will take off for a secluded wilderness adventure.
